Q: Are your candles really made from olive wax?
A: Yep! Unlike soy or paraffin, our candles are made with 100% olive wax – natural, sustainable, clean burning, and chemical-free. It’s better for you, and better for the planet.
Q: Are your products vegan friendly?
A: es! All of our candles and soaps are vegan-friendly. Our soaps are crafted with coconut oil and vegetable glycerine — never palm oil or tallow. We carefully source plant- and mineral-based ingredients that are kinder to your skin and gentler on the planet.
Q: Do your candles burn clean?
A: Yes! Olive wax burns clean and long due to its chemical-free hydrogenation processing. No nasty black soot, just naturally-derived fragrance and a cozy glow.
Q: My skin is sensitive — will your soaps be okay?
A: Our soaps are made with gentle, skin-loving ingredients, inspired by my partner’s journey with sensitive skin. While every skin type is unique, many of our customers find them calming, mild, and nourishing. I’ve even trusted them on my own children since they were newborns.
Q: Do you make custom orders?
A: For bulk gifting (weddings, corporate, or special events), yes! Send us a message via the contact page and we’ll chat about options.
Q: Where are you based?
A: In the small town of Babinda, an hour south of Cairns in beautiful Far North Queensland. Every product is hand poured, cut, and packed with care.
🚚 Shipping & Returns
Shipping
Australia-Wide Delivery – We ship across Australia using reputable, carbon-neutral carriers.
Flat Rate Shipping – $12 flat rate on all orders (or free over $150).
Processing Time – Orders are usually packed within 2–3 business days. Handmade takes time, but it’s worth it.
Tracking – You’ll receive a tracking number once your order is on the way, so you can stalk your parcel as much as you like.
Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love your FNQ Gifts experience!
Change of Mind – Due to the handmade nature of our products, we can’t accept returns for change of mind.
Damaged or Faulty Items – If something arrives broken, damaged, or just not quite right, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We’ll sort it out with a replacement or refund.
Allergies or Sensitivities – Ingredients are listed on each product page. Please check before purchasing, as we can’t take responsibility for individual allergies.
